LIFE IS A BEACH REINVENT YOUR WEEKENDS
1. POSITION AND TERM
a. The position is Senior Water Sports Instructor/Manager.
b. The appointment will be for a period of 24 months subject to approval of work permit from the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore (if applicable).
c. Remuneration will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
d. Annual leave will be 21 days including public holidays.
2. WORKING HOURS
a. The hours of work are 10:00-18:45hrs on weekdays and 09:45-19:00hrs on weekends. Employee may be expected to work beyond these hours if urgent work arises.
b. Morning / afternoon refreshment of 15 minutes with a Lunch break of 30 minutes. Refreshments and staff lunch are provided.
c. Instructors are on rosters for weekly break and rest days
3. REQUIREMENTS
a. Passion for water sports
b. A degree while not required, is advantageous
c. 3 years experience in teaching water sports
d. RYA Dinghy Instructor or equivalent
e. Power boat L2/ Safety boat
f. RYA Windsurfing Instructor or equivalent is advantageous
g. BCU Kayak Level 2 Coach or equivalent is advantageous
h. Current First Aid qualification
i. A good level of physical fitness
j. Outgoing with good communication and team work skills
k. Proactive and disciplined
l. Ability to improvise and adapt activities to variable weather conditions.
