Naish Kite Speed Team Break World Records in Luderitz-Namibi

Female Speed world record holder Sjoukje Bredenkamp (SA) broke her own world record this week in Namibia. Her 38.45 knot run destroyed her old mark of 37.34 by more than a knot!
In the 30+ knots of wind, all of the racers competing broke the existing world records, both male and female.
Manu Taub (FRA), with a run of 43.69 knots, broke the existing world record of 41.79 knots by almost two knots. He finished third on the day as the world record was pushed to 44.55 knots on the first day of competition.
Congratulations to Sjoukje and Manu on such great performances. Good luck the rest of the month. We will keep everyone informed of new world records as they happen.
