Estų datą radau, Lietuvos neradau. Ar tik nepaskelbta, ar dar nepatvirtinta?
Dabar įdomiausia tema - būti, ar nebūti FW kartu su WF (WindFoil)? Šis klausimas vienoje FB diskusijoje sulaukė milžiniško susidomėjimo ir turbūt tapo visų laikų labiausiai komentuojama žinute portugalų formulės paskiroje. Yra kelios priežastys dėl kurių, manau, šioms dviem klasėm reiktų leisti startuoti kartu:
1. Ši yra esminė - o kodėl ne? Vienintelė išlyga dabar galiojančioms taisyklėms, tai vairo ilgio apribojimas. Bet tai galima lengvai išspręsti darant atskiras įskaitas. Ir dėl didesnio laisvumo nuimti apribojimą naudoti ne FW lentas (nors nemanau, kad atsiras kas nors, kas plauks ne su FW lenta).
2. 91cm lentos pločio apribojimas yra tik PWA, kas mums visai neaktualu ir IFCA, kur irgi nelabai svarbu.
3. Dėl pirmų dviejų priežasčių apribojimai būtų labiau žalingi, nei naudingi, nes pereinamojo laikotarpio metu, kol dar neaišku WF ateitis ir statusas, kurti sau kliūtis būtų visiškai neprotinga. Varžybų organizatoriai sulauktų mažiau dalyvių. Tiems patiems dalyviams būtų mažesnis stimulas važiuoti į varžybas. Prarastume konkurencingumą kaimynų atžvilgiu.
Danai ir vokiečiai leis dalyvauti FW ir WF kartu. Danų nuomonę paskelbsiu pabaigoje.
Mūsų atveju reiktų susitarti ir priimti bendrą sprendimą ne tik tarp lietuvių, bet ir kartu su estais, nes tema yra "ką darome su BC". Dėl to būtų smagu žinoti, ar estai taip pat darys bendrus startus, ar ne. Į tai irgi reikia atsižvelgti priimant sprendimą dėl Lietuvos BC etapo. Dėl LR Taurės, LR Čempo, tai yra mūsų bendras asmeninis reikalas, kur galime nuspręsti tik mes.
Iš lietuvių esu kol kas vienintelis dalyvavęs varžybose Lietuvoje ir užsienyje. Startavau ir kartu su FW, ir tik WF varžybose. Tai labai panašios disciplinos ir tikrai gali startuoti kartu.

New rules for point calculation in the Course discipline

In the course discipline we have previously allowed virtually all types of equipment, incl. Formula, Slalom and Long-boards. When the first foils came on the market in 2017, the foil equipment proved to be the fastest - but without being generally available on the market. Therefore, the free choice of equipment was limited, so sailors on the foil were not included in the official DM titles in 2017.
Based on the questionnaire survey in December, we expect approximately a 50/50 distribution between sailors on Formula and Foil equipment in 2018. For example, To ensure the continued DIF / DS DM status of the Courses (as we have had since 1985), DM in "Courses" and "Combined" in 2018 will be based on the "Open" list, where both sailors on Formula and Foil- equipment can participate. Thus, a return to the (largely) free choice of equipment.
There will still be DBO Denmark champions in Formula, as we expect that the Formula class will continue to progress well, although some choose to switch to Foil. For the Nordic Championships in June, we also expect to be able to award official NM titles in both Formula and Foil / Open.
The development of Foil equipment is exciting, but we still do not know if Foil can develop into a equally successful class like Formula Windsurfing has been in the last 15-20 years. Therefore, we will continue to arrange racing for all boarders, whether they set up Formula, Foil, Slalom, Woman, Raceboard, RS: X, RS: One, Techno, etc.
